Mission

The Integrated Software Vendor (ISV) Sales Development Representative (SDR) will find and cultivate software developers who utilize payments within their applications. The SDR will schedule meetings with prospective software developer referral partners with the goal of utilizing Paystri as the credit processor of choice for the businesses using their application. Cold calling, prospecting, and networking are daily regimen for success in this role.

Expanding payments knowledge and expertise will be crucial to meet your goals. Success in this role may provide you the opportunity to grow into a Business Development Executive role, where you work to land and close new technology partnerships, where one partner can add hundreds or thousands of new customers to our platform.

 

About You

You are an articulate and energetic salesperson with a strong focus on prospecting and building relationships (both in-person and online). You are a master in the art of respectful persistence. You are one part persuasive, one part consultative, and two parts roll up your sleeves and get it done.

 

Outcomes

Lead Development and Prospecting
  • Understand the Ideal Customer Profile for a Paystri partnership.
  • Identify 60 new ISV or partner leads per month using your network, LinkedIn, Captera, trade shows, and internet research capturing the relevant decision makers and company information in HubSpot
  • 30 Sequences Weekly
    •       60 sales actions per day
    •       30 calls per day to new and existing leads.
    •       30 Emails / Texts / LinkedIn Messages
  • Source leads by cold calling and emailing using HubSpot sequences to convert leads into prospects by mastering the Paystri partnership elevator pitch and value propositions
  • Learn about your prospects by asking the right questions
  • Educate prospects on payment processing.
  • Use the Action Selling process to develop prospects into opportunities.

Winning New Partners
  • Schedule 12 new partnership meeting a month.
  • Help produce 4 ISVs partnership agreements with Head of Sales / Business Development Executives per quarter.
  • Steer the conversations towards the close.
  • Use respectful persistence to follow up and book partnership meetings.
  • Collaborate with team members, customer success, and marketing to bring partners to the finish line.
  • Ask for referrals from happy customers and partners.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of B2B sales or sales development experience in technology or payments.
  • A track record of exceeding goals and expectations.
  • Continuous success and/or promotions in your previous roles.
  • Experience working both individually and as a team to accomplish mutual goals.
  • Payments industry experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot to manage prospects and leads through the sales cycle.
  • Compelling written and verbal communication skills.
  • Informative webinar and in-person presentation skills.
  • Cold calling and mastering an elevator pitch/value proposition.
  • Active listening and consultative selling.
  • Presenting the right product that meets your customer’s needs.
  • Asking for the sale at the right time.
  • Implementing an established sales process such as Action Selling.
